Ever watched that commercial where the two women are admiring the new blinds in the window, while outside, the husband struggles with the dog and the incendiary barbeque? Really hilarious. What about the series of commercials where the woman is applauding a certain internet phone system while the guy does goofy things in the background? Most amusing.
It took my wife to point out that in sit-coms, announcements, commercials and conversations on TV, the man so often seems to be made out to be the rather inadequate, insensitive and unintelligent burden. The woman on the other hand is the sensible balance upon whom we all depend.
Hey! We're men. We can take it! But here's a thought; is there a conspiracy?
